Lausanne Running

Prerequisites: 2.3 minimum GPA and 30 units by the end of Spring 09. Students must meet all prerequisite requirements for each course they intend on taking overseas. Waivers cannot be issued for students to take courses without meeting prerequisite requirements. No exceptions will be made. Registration:
Students will register for their Summer IP courses online in Spring after their contract signing. Summer course call numbers can be found on the 'Summer Class Schedule - International Programs - PDF' link at the following website: http://seaver.pepperdine.edu/academics/schedule/. Location: Students will reside in a residential facility in Lausanne taking advantage of the living/learning community. Lausanne is located in the French speaking part of Switzerland on picturesque Lake Geneva, a few hours from the Swiss Alps and 30 minutes from Geneva. It is home to the Olympic headquarters and Museum. Lausanne is centrally located for easy train access to all the major cities of Europe. Students can take a bullet train to Paris in less than four hours.
Travel & Meals: Round-trip travel between LAX and Lausanne on a group-flight is included in the program fee. Most meals will be provided.
Personnel: The Visiting Faculty member will be Robert Radnoti.
Cost: The tuition cost is $1,135 per unit, and each student must take a minimum of 1 unit. The International Programs Charge of $3,990 covers orientations, airfare and transfers to and from airports, room, most meals and other program extras. Cost: The tuition cost is $1,135 per unit, and each student must take a minimum of 11 units from the combined programs. The International Programs Charge of $11,080 covers orientations, airfare and transfers to and from airports, room, most meals, the Adventure Excursion and other program extras. Textbooks and personal costs, such as individual weekend travel, are not included. Financial Aid is available for eligible students. * Schedules depend upon airline space availabilities and may be changed. All courses and other program activities offered are dependent upon availability of faculty who teach these courses.
