International Programs

Eligibility

In order to study abroad, you must have completed thirty (30) units or 2 semesters of college (Pepperdine or other college/university) coursework by the time the program departs.

In order to apply for an Academic Year program, you must have at least a 2.5 Pepperdine cumulative GPA, and a GPA above 2.0 for the previous semester.  The GPA requirement for the Australia Affiliated Study Abroad programs is 3.0.  For summer programs, please refer to individual program GPA requirements.

Students who are on academic or disciplinary probation are ineligible to attend an International Program. If your Pepperdine cumulative GPA or your semester GPA falls below a 2.0 after you have applied or been accepted to a program, you will immediately become ineligible and your application will be dropped.  If you have already signed a contract, you will be responsible for the non-refundable drop fee and any applicable percentage penalty phase fees.

Academics, disciplinary status, campus citizenship, the essay, and the interview are all important factors in the decision making process.
