Welcome to the Intercultural Affairs
Office (ICA) at Pepperdine
University. The ICA Office is proud to serve as
one of the many avenues on campus whereby students can gain the
knowledge and skills necessary to become culturally competent.
The ICA Office is comprised of ten student interns who develop
programs designed to educate and challenge the
Pepperdine community with regard to such topics as the environment,
gender issues, international issues as well as Latino,
Asian-American, and African-American cultures. This office also has
research assistants to enhance the level of content we offer and a
graphic designer to enhance the level of professionalism in our
publicity materials.
Feel free to peruse this web
site. You will find our calendar, where you can find past and
upcoming programs. In addition, you will find our purpose
and mission statements, as well as information about leadership
opportunities. Lastly, you will find information about student
organizations affiliated with the ICA Office and a link to our
University Diversity web site. Suggestions are always welcome, and
you are always invited to get involved with the work we
do. Simply call or email me directly. My contact information can be
found below.
I am extremely proud to be
involved with leading this office as we seek to create and sustain a
healthy and culturally competent community.
