The Teacher Education program at Seaver College provides the coursework and fieldwork experiences which will qualify teacher candidates for a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or a Single Subject Teaching Credential. These credential programs were developed in compliance with the requirements of the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Students may earn both credentials by securing the approval of an advisor and meeting additional requirements. The Teacher Education program meets state requirements for educational technology and English Language Learner authorization.

The Liberal Arts major is recommended for students earning the Multiple Subject Credential. A major in a specific content area (English, math, social science, science) is recommended for the Single Subject Credential.
