Admission Information
Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences offers Master of Arts and Master of Science degrees in several disciplines. We also offer the Master of Divinity degree and the Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting for Film and Television.
The student seeking admission to a graduate program at Seaver College is expected to have completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution prior to the time of graduate matriculation. Only those students who show substantial promise of successfully completing the graduate course of study for which they apply are accepted. Applications are evaluated only after all the necessary documents have been received by the Office of Seaver Graduate Programs as all the required information is considered in the decision. A decision will not be granted until the admission file is complete. It is the applicant's responsibility to be certain that all the necessary materials are received by the appropriate office.
An application for admission may be submitted at any time. It is best to apply well in advance of the initial term for which the applicant plans to enroll. Completed files will be processed and evaluated by the Graduate Admission Committee. Full consideration cannot be assured to applicants who fail to meet the application deadlines.
Seaver Graduate Application Deadlines:
- Early Decision: February 1 (For students requesting Financial Aid or Housing)
- Final Decision: March 15

International Students: Please note that you are considered an international student if you are a citizen of a foreign country and do not hold the permanent resident visa (green card) in the United States. If this pertains to you, please complete the additional requirements for international students and submit all application materials to the Office of Seaver Graduate Programs.
In addition, you must complete and submit a International Student Data Form along with your application. We cannot make an admission decision without this form.
