California State Capital Fellows Program

PURPOSE

The State of California and Cal State Sacramento's Center for California Studies offers four different fellowship programs to prepare participants for future careers in public service.

PROGRAMS

The Center administers four programs through which participants enter paid, eleven-month-long fellowships. The four programs include: California Senate Fellows, Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship, Executive Fellowship and Judicial Administration Fellowship. Fellows receive a stipend each month plus medical benefits. Fellows earn 12 units of graduate credit for Cal State Sacramento through the program courses. Students apply to the four separate programs for consideration, and may apply to all four.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must have completed a four year degree by fall when the program begins. Open to any field of study.
