Graduate Fellowships

Deadlines 2008-2009

For awards that require institutional nomination or involvement click here
Institution nomination
refers to occasions that Pepperdine must internally consider and nominate candidates (in some cases we are limited in the number we may nominate). There is an internal process to apply for nomination. In most cases, applicants will be asked to provide all application documents with the exception of faculty letters of reference (only names will be provided, not complete letters)

Campus involvement applies in the case of the NSEP Boren awards and the Fulbright grants. We are not limited in the number of students who may apply and all qualified applicants will be forwarded. But, applicants must adhere to campus procedures in order to apply. All documents needed to be submitted by the Campus Deadline (including letters of reference).

For Awards that DO NOT require institutional nomination or involvement click here  These awards are nationally competitive but they DO NOT require institutional nomination nor do they require campus involvement in the form of a campus interview. HOWEVER, applicants benefit greatly from the input of the fellowships office staff and faculty members. Therefore, those who submit draft documents (personal statements, proposals, application forms) by the revision deadline, will be able to receive priority feedback. Students may still submit drafts after the revision deadline, but we cannot guarantee the same attention as those who meet the revision deadline.
