Bill has performed on professional stages across the globe, including Spain and Tokyo. In Chicago, he was a principle dancer in the dance company DanceScape before starting a successful run in the windy city’s musical theatre scene. On Broadway, he appeared as an original cast member in the Tony Award winning, revival cast of Cabaret and in the Lincoln Center’s Parade. Bill also danced in the Johnny Mercer revue Dream, and the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Show in New York City. He assisted choreographer Pat Birch on the remounting the 1st Broadway national tour of Parade. The national tour of Martin Guerre brought Bill to the Ahmanson Theater and the west coast where he began his teaching and choreography career.
Some of Bill’s choreography credits include: Hello Dolly, Sweeney Todd, Thoroughly Modern Millie (director), Brigadoon (director), Damn Yankees, Anything Goes, The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, Man of La Mancha, Sound of Music, Wild Party, Calamity Jane, Singin’ in the Rain, and Crazy for You.
Bill started teaching and choreographing for Pepperdine in 2002 and the following year became director of Pepperdine’s dance company, Dance in Flight. He also teaches at UCLA for the Ray Bolger Musical Theatre program and the UCLA Summer Arts Camp.
