Pepperdine University presents a public master class with
classical guitarist Christopher Parkening once each semester in the
Raitt Recital Hall on its campus in Malibu.

The fall, 2008 master class will be held on Saturday, September 27
from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
To audition as a performing student, please contact Professor
Sara Banta. You will need to provide a brief biography with study and
performance histories, and either an audio or video cassette with
five to ten minutes of music (two to three appropriate pieces). If
accepted, there is a $100.00 fee. For Pepperdine students, the fee is
$10.00.
For master class tickets, please contact the Pepperdine University
Box Office at (310) 506-4522 after 12:00 Noon. There is a $25.00 fee to audit the class. For Pepperdine
students, the fee is $10.00.
The Master Class is open to all registered individuals interested
in studying the classical guitar with virtuoso Christopher Parkening. There
will be a brief question and answer period immediately following the
class.
