Bill
has been a professor of dance at Pepperdine University for four
years and has directed their dance program, DANCE IN FLIGHT, for the
past three years. He is also a guest teacher for the UCLA School of
theater, film, and television and teaches for their US Performing
Arts camp. Bill has taught dance for the past 18 years; and, has
choreographed for various dance companies as well. While living in
the Chicago area, he co-directed an educational dance program for
elementary students and danced in a modern dance company, DANCESCAPE.
Bill has performed on professional stages across the globe,
including the Spain dance tour, Tokyo Disneyland, and the New York
Radio City Music Hall. On Broadway, he appeared in the original cast
of the revival of CABARET, the Johnny Mercer review DREAM, and in
Lincoln Centers’ Tony award winning PARADE. He danced in the
national tour of MARTIN GUERRE, where at the Ahmanson Theater, he
played the role of Benoit. Choreography credits include: ANYTHING
GOES, THE MUSIC MAN, and MAN OF LA MANCHA at Pepperdine University;
THE WILD PARTY, TRIUMPH OF LOVE and THE COLE PORTER REVUE, at UCLA;
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Oklahoma Lyric Theater; CALAMITY JANE, Sierra
Repertory Theatre; SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, Westchester Broadway
Theatre; CRAZY FOR YOU, Peninsula Players. He also acted as Pat
Birch’s assistant choreographer on the Broadway National Tour of
PARADE. |
