Professor Mona Wu DeCesare, honored as "Artist/Educator" received a
Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degree in Piano Performance
from University of California, Los Angeles. She has received
scholarships from the Aspen Music School, Sigma Alpha Iota, and
Atwater Kent. She is on the music faculty at Pepperdine University,
Moorpark College, and Oxnard College, and was on the music faculty at
the Pasadena City College for ten years. Professor DeCesare is a
member of the Nuance Ensemble, and the DeCesare-Francis Piano Duo.
She has given recitals at UCLA, CSUN, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza,
Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, Pasadena City College, the Thousand
Oaks Concerts in the Library series, Moorpark College Performing Arts
Center, and numerous other venues including a recent tour in
Thailand. She is a frequent adjudicator for many music competitions
and is an active member of The Music Teachers' Association of
California. |
