  • To receive a recommendation from the Music Department for acceptance to the University.
  • To tour the campus and learn more about our Music Program.

Instrumental Auditions

  • Please prepare two selections, which contrast in style, tempo, articulations, etc. (pianists are required to have these selections memorized).
  • Be prepared to do some sight-reading.
  • Please bring information about repertoire you have studied and performed

Vocal Auditions

Please prepare three selections in contrasting style, such as one Italian art song, one German art song, and one musical theater selection. Two of the selections must be classical in nature.

Setting Up an Audition Time

For any audition date you MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT by contacting Danah.Sanders@pepperdine.edu in the Fine Arts Division Office at 310-506-4462. It is highly advised that you audition in person; however, we will accept audition tapes and/or compact discs. We ask that you prepare three contrasting selections, at least two being classical in nature.
