Classical Guitar Master Class

With Christopher Parkening

Pepperdine University presents a public master class with classical guitarist Christopher Parkening once each semester in the Raitt Recital Hall on its campus in Malibu: 24255 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, California 90263

Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.

To audition as a performing student, please contact Professor Jonathan Roth. You will need to provide a brief biography with study and performance histories, and either an audio or video cassette with five to ten minutes of music (two to three appropriate pieces). If accepted, there is a $100.00 fee. For Pepperdine students, the fee is $10.00. Pepperdine Guitar Students are free.

The Master Class is open to all registered individuals interested in studying the classical guitar with virtuoso Christopher Parkening. There will be a brief question and answer period immediately following the class.
