Art History
Seaver College's Art History Department offers a minor in Art History.
Lower Division
The student must take the following as prerequisites for Art
History courses:

Western Heritage I* (for ARTH 422, ARTH 424, and ARTH 426)

Western Heritage II* (for ARTH 428 and ARTH 430)

Western Heritage III* (for ARTH 434, ARTH 436, and ARTH 440)

*Satisfies general education requirement; should be completed
first two years.
It is recommended that Art History majors and minors take ARTH 438
Non-Western Art as their non-Western general education requirement
(satisfies either the Art History or the Non-Western GE requirement
or the fine arts GE requirement - satisfies only one of the three).
