I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the [Scholarship Name]. Your contribution to the school has greatly affected my stay at Pepperdine University. If not for the funds made available to students such as myself, my attendance at Pepperdine would either be extremely difficult or impossible.

As a sophomore, Theater Arts major, with the emphasis on acting, I feel that my experience here is building on my future goals in life and aspiring career.

I am looking forward to next spring, in which I will be attending the Heidelberg overseas program. Again, this experience is a clear reminder to me of how much my scholarship can affect the experiences that I get to participate in. Without some added financial support, I don't know that I'd be able to have this chance of studying at a University, while actually experiencing a different culture.

I truly am grateful that you have donated these funds to the school, and I hope that my actions while in school, as well as my plans for after I leave, are pleasing to you.  I plan to give back to the school by donating scholarship dollars to students in need, just as you have.
