Financial Assistance Deadlines

It is never too soon to start thinking about the financial assistance opportunities available to you or to begin gathering the information you will need to apply for financial assistance. Our advice to you: Apply early! Scholarship and financial assistance funds are awarded to eligible students based on availability of funds, number of applicants, applicant attributes (including the student's academic profile), and timeliness of the application. Funds are limited, so we encourage you to meet all published application dates.

Financial Assistance Application

Oct 15 Priority deadline to complete your file if you are applying to begin in the Spring (January) semester.
Jan 2 This is the earliest you may send your FAFSA to the Federal Processor. Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Feb 15 Pepperdine's Priority Deadline for sending the FAFSA to the processor. You may use estimated tax figures to meet this deadline. Deadline for submitting the Verification Worksheet to the University to be considered for institutional grant funds. 
Mar 2 Deadline to apply for Cal Grant (see Federal/State sources of assistance) by submitting the FAFSA and GPA Verification Forms (California residents only).
Apr 15 Deadline for submitting parent's and student's signed federal tax returns and W-2s including all schedules.  Financial Assistance Notifications will be sent to new/transfer admitted student with complete files.   
May 1 Enrollment deposit deadline - - Office of Admission.
ASAP Inform the Financial Assistance Office of any outside/private scholarships you will receive.

Summer School Enrollment Deadline (To qualify for grant percentage).

May 1 Summer Estimator

Loan Processing Deadlines:

July 1 Deadline to submit your loan application if you wish to have your funds here by the start of the Fall semester.
Dec 1 Last day to submit a loan application to be processed for the Fall semester.
Apr 1 Last day to submit a loan application to be processed for the Spring semester.
