This initiative will provide an opportunity for faculty to request a one course reduction in load to pursue scholarly activities.

The application is similar to that of applying for a Seaver Research Council Grant and details of the application process can be found here.  The deadline for submitting proposals is November 2, 2009 (please note the new application deadline).  Proposals should be submitted to Katy Svennungsen in the Office of the Assistant Dean for Research (Mail Code 4280).  Decisions on awards will be made and notification letters sent by the end of December.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact Katy at extension 6084 or by e-mail to katy.svennungsen@pepperdine.edu.
