  • Dr. Gary Selby Named Director of Center for Faith and Learning

  • Gary Selby authored a new book titled Martin Luther King and the Rhetoric of Freedom: The Exodus Narrative in America's Struggle for Civil Rights. more

  • Gary Selby wrote an essay titled "Mocking the Sacred: Frederick Douglass's 'Slaveholders Sermon' and the Antebellum Debate over Religion and Slavery," which was published in the newly released anthology, Readings on Political Communication (Strata Press). The article was previously published in Quarterly Journal of Speech (2002).

  • John Jones coauthored an article titled "Recasting the American Dream and American Politics: Barack Obama's Keynote Address to the Democratic National Convention," which was accepted for publication and will appear in Volume 93 of Quarterly Journal of Speech.  Jones also had two articles selected for publication in the Encyclopedia of Political Communication:  one on Barack Obama and the other on Ronald Reagan.
