Employer Networking

Companies, non-profit organizations, and government agencies visit campus each year to share their career opportunities with students. Build your professional network without leaving campus by stopping by, introducing yourself, and requesting a business card.

For more opportunities, consider networking with alumni.

Employer Networking Events:

  • Employer Presentations - Over 50 employers offer 30-45 minute afternoon and evening receptions each year. Attend to get all the details of jobs and internships they offer, ask questions about the application process, its office culture, and career advancement.
  • Information Tables - Over 30 employers spend an afternoon in the CCB or the caf at an information table each semester. Usually offering summer or part-time work, stop by to collect brochures and giveaways. Don't forget to get a business card if you have questions later.
  • Career Fairs - You have the chance to network with hundreds of professionals at the career fairs. In one day you can build your professional network, research job and internship opportunities, and distribute your resume to national and local recruiters.
