Pepperdine University is pleased to announce the Randall Internship Program for the 2011-2012 academic year. This program, in its fifth year, is intended to support our student interns, our community employers and the University mission to prepare students for "lives of leadership, purpose, and service."

Projected Commuting Budget Form.This year all students who enroll in at least one graded unit of internship credit can benefit from the Randall Internship Program during the fall or spring semester. Students will need to enroll in the internship and participate in one of the following supervisory or classroom formats:
Typically course content includes study around topics including organizational analysis, communication at work, leadership, team participation, diversity, technology in the workplace, ethics, and vocation.
Students must apply, interview, and intern 4-15 hours weekly, for 14 weeks during the semester. The Add/Drop registration period for an internship is extended to January 20th. If a student has not secured an internship by January 19th, they should contact the Internship Office.
Students must complete the following hours and receive a letter grade to secure the following units:

Internships can be selected from currently posted internship positions or students may get approval from the Internship Office to work with other companies or organizations. Students will need to have their resume reviewed and approved before being granted access to the Internship Database to conduct their search. In order to receive up to $500 dollars in reimbursement for commuting expenses at the end of the term, students must complete and submit a Projected Commuting Budget to the Career Center at the start of the term. Students participating in the program from Washington, D.C. should this separate Washington, D.C. Commuting Budget form.
The reimbursement rate will be based on the mileage required for a student to drive or commute to and from their internship site. If a student is enrolled by the deadline, the Projected Commuting Budget form will also be emailed to them to complete. Forms should be completed digitally and should be emailed to alison.raisian@pepperdine.edu.
