Alumni

Alumni smile at graduation

The Career Center provides alumni with access to tools to build their network, focus their job search, improve their resumes, and prepare for interviews. We also aim to bridge connect alumni with current students seeking career guidance and exposure, and connections with the expansive community of Waves in the workforce. Become part of the H.I.R.E. Pepperdine campaign by posting internship and job opportunities for fellow Waves, or supporting current students through mentoring.

  Share Your Story

Job Shadow Day

Introduce current Pepperdine students to your profession by hosting them in your workplace and sharing insights into your profession. Students are matched with host professionals in the Greater Los Angeles area or virtually worldwide to introduce them to a variety of career fields and industries. Serving as a Job Shadow host is a great opportunity to mentor Pepperdine students, help them to establish connections with alumni and industry professionals, and increase their confidence in their professional abilities.

Ask an Alum Event

Share insights into your career journeys with current Pepperdine students through a casual and candid career conversation. During the event, you will have the chance to connect with current students, share more about your role and responsibilities, offer advice or tips about your industry, and most importantly - answer students' career questions. The expected student attendance is between 5-10 students. The session can be held virtually or in person, depending on the location and availability of the alumni participants.

Career Treks

The goal of Pepperdine Career Treks is to bring students into the workplaces of alumni in order to expose them to potential careers and broaden their understanding of various industries and occupations. We welcome our alumni to host a group of current undergraduate students at their workplace to share their success after Seaver stories. Please email the Director of Career Opportunities, Maile Hetherington for more information.
