Contract Major: Finance

Program Requirements

A student will be considered for admission to the Business Administration Division after completion of 48 units of work with no grade below a C- in any of the required courses below, and an overall grade point average of 2.5 in all classes taken. 

The standard Lower Division course requirements must be part of the 48 units needed for admission to the program, and a grade of C- or better is required in each course: (**NOTE: a grade of B or better is required in BA 321 for full admission to the program.).

Requests for admission will normally occur during the fifth semester and can be made during the semester in which the students are completing their required courses.  Final decisions will be made only after grades are received.  Only students accepted into the division will be permitted to enroll in BA 442, 447, 452, 497 and 598.  Students must complete at least 45 units at Seaver College following the signing of the  contract. 

The Finance Contract Major requires 66-68 units.
