2007 Founding Members Dinner at Alpine Village
Freunde von Heidelberg members celebrated their founding members
as well as the growth and longevity of the Heidelberg International
Program at a festive dinner held at Alpine Village.
Alumni from the Heidelberg Program spoke about their experiences,
highlighting their international travels, memories of Heidelberg and
their time in the Moore Haus. The work of Freunde von Heidelberg was
exemplified in both the stories told and in picture boards displaying
the refurbishment efforts in the Moore Haus.
The history of the Heidelberg International Program, the Moore
Haus, and Freunde von Heidelberg was shared as well as a brief
summary of the completed refurbishment efforts. The completion of an
endowed student travel scholarship was also announced, helping to
ensure that no students are denied the experience of studying in
Heidelberg due to finances.
The event brought together Freunde von Heidelberg founding
members, as well as Heidelberg Alumni from the 1960s through current
Seaver students.
