Loan Exit Counseling Information
Federal Regulations require all students to complete Exit Loan Counseling Sessions when they graduate, withdraw or drop below half-time status. Failure to complete Exit Loan Counseling Sessions will result in a hold being placed on your academic transcripts.
December graduates – Your personalized Loan Exit Counseling packet will be mailed to your permanent address the week of December 5th. Exit Counseling needs to be completed online; however, it is highly recommended that you also schedule an appointment to go over your loan servicer information with your Financial Assistance Loan Advisor after you complete your online exit counseling sessions. You can call the Office of Financial Assistance at 310-506-4301 to schedule an appointment or e-mail us by clicking here.
A separate counseling session must be completed online for each type of Federal or Institutional loan borrowed.
