Recommendations

Required for All Applicants

Academic Letter of Recommendation
This letter must be from a teacher or counselor who is familiar with the applicant's academic standing.

Personal Letter of Recommendation
This letter should be from a personal acquaintance (employer, religious leader, teacher, or counselor) who can attest to the applicant's character.

Church of Christ Applicants

Church of Christ Scholarship Letter of Recommendation
In order to be considered for Church of Christ Scholarships, Church of Christ applicants may submit a third letter. This letter should be from a church leader (minister, elder, youth minister, etc.) from a Church of Christ congregation.  Please Note:  Reference Step 2 on the Apply Now page for further information and requirements for Church of Christ Scholarships.

Submitting Recommendations

We prefer that recommendations be submitted online using the above links.  However, if you are unable to use our forms, written recommendations or traditional letters can be mailed to the address below.  Please make sure that your recommender includes your first name, last name, current school, city, and state.
