This is required of all applicants, including transfers. To be considered official, the
high school transcript must be sent directly from the school or
submitted in an envelope sealed by the school, and must bear an
original signature of a school official and/or an original school
seal. Faxed copies are not considered official.
High school
transcripts in a language other than English must also be official
and must be accompanied by an official English translation.
Freshman applicants still enrolled in high school must submit a
cumulative sixth-semester transcript (through grade 11) at the time
of application. The final transcript must be submitted prior to
enrollment.
Freshman applicants who have graduated from high school and all
transfer applicants must submit a final, cumulative high school
transcript indicating the date of graduation.
Applicants who did not graduate from high school must submit
official GED (General Educational Development) or CHSPE (California
High School Proficiency Examination) documentation indicating a
passing score, in addition to a transcript of all high school work
completed.
Home-schooled applicants should fulfill a traditional college
preparatory curriculum. If a transcript for work completed as a
home-schooled applicant is not available, official GED or CHSPE
documentation indicating a passing score must be submitted.
Additionally, official documentation should be submitted indicating
the curriculum followed and grades obtained. If any portion of the
high school course work was completed at a traditional high school,
an official transcript of that work must also be submitted. Because
of the non-traditional nature of this type of schooling, applicants
are expected to demonstrate academic proficiency through strong SAT I
or ACT scores.
Official transcripts may be sent to the following address:
