International Students application information

Who is an international student?

• Any applicant that does not hold citizenship or permanent residency in the United States.

What is required for an international student to apply?

• Common Application, Pepperdine Supplement, and Application Fee
• High School Transcript(s)
• Academic Recommendation
• Personal Recommendation
• English Proficiency Requirement
• International Student Data (ISD) Form

In addition to the above list of requirements, international students are also required to submit the appropriate materials depending on the type of applicant they are: freshman, freshman transfer, or transfer.  Please review the instructions for the appropriate type of applicant on the Application Procedures web page.

I live in the United States but I do not have American citizenship or permanent residence, am I an international student?  Yes.

I am an American citizen but I live abroad, am I an international student?  No.
