Academic Advising

Meet Your Academic Advisor

How many people can truly say that they love their job? I consider myself fortunate in that regard. Advising, to me, is not just about picking a major or designing a schedule. Working in the Academic Advising Center allows me to get to know the students in our community and hopefully have a hand in the achievement of their goals. I believe that every student here has the potential to be successful and happy and I am committed to working with them to realize that potential. My role here is truly a blessing and I am thankful to not only be able to guide our students through the administrative processes here, but also to support them during difficult times and rejoice at their successes.

I consider it a wonderful blessing to have the opportunity to serve as an academic advisor. I see my role here as an incredible chance to help students make the most of their experience at Pepperdine, and to develop a love for learning that will be with them throughout their lives. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals.

As a former student at Pepperdine myself, I know how quickly the four years of education can fly by. This is why I look forward to meeting with students during this brief period of time in order to help them plan their schedule in a way that would make the most judicious use of their stay here. Although Pepperdine is naturally a great place to be, it is an even better place when students learn how they can best capitalize on everything this institution has to offer.

Over the many years that I have worked at the University, it has been a joy advising students. I am able to see the excited faces of the new students entering Pepperdine for the first time and the anticipation of our graduates as they go out to face the world. It is a blessing being able to advise students and see them reach their goals. I so enjoy working with the wonderful students here and the opportunity to be a part of this beautiful community.
